Challenger Tour

Similar to baseball's minor league system, the PBR's Copenhagen Challenger Tour serves as a "feeder" tour that gives bull riders the opportunity to earn a spot on the 45-man Built Ford Tough Series roster. After every fifth series event, the top-ranked bull riders in the Challenger Tour standings are bumped up to the series and replace the fifth lowest-ranked series competitors.  The cycle ensures that only the best riders compete in the Built Ford Tough Series.  More than 65 Challenger Tour Events span the globe each year.

 Exceptional Rodeo

Where: Bastrop Homecoming Rodeo Arena

When: June 12, 2010

Time: 6:00 p.m.

Since the onset of our event, each year we are blessed with the presence of our "Exceptional Children" or "Brent's Kids", as they are affectionately known by our Foundation. They are children, adults, young and older, that know challenge and adversity each and every day. However, on this one day each year, we watch as these exceptional athletes have the time of their lives. We, as a Foundation, strive to put smiles on their faces as they experience something different and new to their world as they know it. The quiver of an animal beneath them as they ride a horse for the first time and as they "throw" their first loop during the roping event. Their smile, after their eight second ride aboard "Mighty Bucky", reflects their sense of accomplishment for both boys and girls.

Most years, we even have some entertainers in our group of athletes. We have singers and what should have been politicians, as they love the microphone and the opportunity to speak to the crowd. You can watch these children come into the arena shy and uncertain of themselves and leave with a smile the size of Texas, taking with them a piece of your heart and ours. It is truly heartwarming to see these special athletes all come together to honor the memory of to some, a departed friend and loved one and to others, a mentor. Most of the professional bull riders and bull fighters come in early just to give a hand to "Brent's Kid's".

If you have never watched our Exceptional Rodeo, you leave without the true meaning of this event. Please come join us during our Exceptional Rodeo and feel the love and pride that makes us all feel like all the hard work was worth it.

We are so proud to sponsor these children and adults and in all truthfulness again, we are the winners.
We are hoping to see you at the arena at 6:00 P.M. on June 12.
PBR performance is at 7:30 P.M. HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU AND YOURS!
